Sailing photography is a moving brief in every sense: the boat, the light and the water are all changing constantly, and the best images tend to come from being in the right position at the right moment rather than setting up and waiting.

That takes both marine experience and a photographer who’s comfortable working from a chase boat, a drone, or occasionally the deck itself.
